Course Purpose:  

The course was designed for customer IT administrators and consultants responsible for configuring workflows to improve business processes.

This course will prepare you to confidently configure, implement, and build valuable workflows within ControlSuite together with its component applications of AutoStore, Equitrac, and Output Manager. You will achieve certification as a ControlSuite Administrator upon successful completion of the course material and passing the required exams throughout the course.

Note: If you are a Kofax Business Partner/Reseller, enroll in the ControlSuite Installer or Technical Support courses, as these courses have training modules and exams packaged for Business Partners/Resellers.

Target Audience:

Customer Technical personnel whose job responsibilities include implementing and configuring ControlSuite in proof of concept (POC) through customer production environments. Please note that the training modules packaged for this Administrator training do not cover design nor installation of ControlSuite, but are covered by modules in the bonus section.

Self-paced learning:

This training is comprised of a series of self-paced eLearning modules and knowledge checks to test your understanding in preparation for the graded exams.

Completing a section and achieving a passing grade for that section exam earns Administrator Certifications for AutoStore, Equitrac, Output Manager, and the ControlSuite platform separately. Completing all four exams completes the course, and you will have earned your ControlSuite Administrator Certification.

Knowledge Prerequisites: 

No previous ControlSuite experience is required. However, experience with navigating Windows server operating systems, knowledge of protocols, and other IT related topics are recommended.


Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe the license requirements for ControlSuite.
  • Perform initial configuration of ControlSuite, AutoStore, Equitrac, and Output Manager.

  • Configure and implement ControlSuite document transformation workflows.
  • Configure document and print management workflows that integrate the capabilities of ControlSuite’s component applications of AutoStore, Equitrac, and Output Manager.
