This module covers the installation of Kofax Capture. This includes deployment options, system requirements, licensing, and installation process.

Note: Many of the Capture Learning Cloud training modules include practice labs that require a functioning Capture system.

• Locate and describe Kofax documentation available for planning and performing an installation
• Describe common Capture component deployment strategies
• Describe licensing methods, requirements, and options
• Describe installation methods available for Capture
• Demonstrate the installation of Kofax Capture as a standalone and/or client-server system

Overview prerequisites:

• Recommended: Complete the Kofax Capture Getting Started learning path in the Kofax Learning Cloud

Practice prerequisites:

• A system that meets the minimum hardware and software requirements as listed in the Kofax Capture Installation Guide and Kofax Capture Technical Specifications document.
