Q: What is the cost for Kofax training?

A: Pricing varies by course offering and is listed in the course catalog and in each Course Preview page.


Q: How do I purchase Kofax product training?

A: There are three ways to purchase training:

  1. Credit card (Online payment)
  2. Purchase Order (requires an established line of credit with Kofax)
  3. By check/cheque (may not be supported in some countries)

Q: What are Training Vouchers?

A: Training Vouchers are your "ticket" to training when purchased with a purchase order or obtained through other means. Training Vouchers are not necessary when purchasing training online.  One Training Voucher is required for each person attending class.


Q: What training products or services are available?

A: Kofax Education Services provides multiple training options. Click on the options below for more information.


Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Kofax Education requires written notice of cancellation or rescheduling at least 5 business days before the commencement of the scheduled course in order to avoid a cancellation fee. If the student cancels or reschedules the course 3-5 business days prior to the first scheduled day of class, the student (or his/her company) will be charged one third (1/3) of the list price of the class. If the student cancels, reschedules or fails to attend the class (regardless of the reason), Kofax will charge two thirds (2/3) of the list price of the class.


Q: Are course materials provided?

A: All student guides, lab guides and other course materials are provided in electronic format for each course.

Q: Can I purchase a single certification exam voucher?

A: Yes. Certification exam vouchers can be purchased using any of the following methods.

  1. Credit card (Online purchase)
  2. Purchase Order (requires an established line of credit with Kofax)
  3. By check/cheque (may not be supported in some countries)

Q: What do I need to bring with me to class?

A: In the U.S. you do not need to bring anything out of the ordinary. You may choose to bring a laptop for referencing the Student Guide or for taking notes. 

In EMEA, Trainees are required to bring a laptop computer that meets the Standalone System Requirements for Kofax Capture 11. This includes a.o. that the computer runs a KC11 certified OS, that it has at least one unblocked USB port, that the user has full local admin rights, etc... Q: What is your cancellation policy?

Kofax reserves the right to cancel a training session. If a class you are scheduled for gets cancelled, you will be informed about the cancellation and offer alternative suggestions, approximately two weeks before your training course takes place. 


Q: Are course materials provided?

A: All student guides, lab guides and other course materials are provided in electronic format for each course (when applicable).


Q: Do public classes include meals?

A: For U.S. based classes, breakfast and lunch is provided daily for all in-person attendees. For EMEA and APAC based classes, lunch is provided daily for in-person attendees. Beverages (water, coffee, tea, soft drinks) are also provided throughout the day. Availability of snacks will vary by location.


Q: What time does class start?

A: U.S. and APAC classes typically start each day at 8:30 a.m. and typically end at 4:30 p.m. (check the details of each class for duration; the last day of class is usually a "shorter" day). In EMEA, the course duration is 4-1/2 days for Kofax TotalAgility, Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation. Class starts the first day at 1:00 p.m., other days at 9:00 a.m. Class normally ends at 5:00 p.m.

For Kofax RPA training in EMEA, the course duration is 4 days, each day starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m.


Q: What is the appropriate attire for class?

A: Business casual.


Q: What is your smoking policy?

A: Smoking is not permitted in the classroom or in any Kofax office. Smoking is permitted in designated outside areas.


Q: Are there any breaks during the class?

A: Breaks of approximately 10-15 minutes each are scheduled throughout the day. 


Q: What if I have special needs?

A: We try our best to accommodate any special needs you may have. Please notify us as soon as possible so that we can make the necessary arrangements.


Q: I have a voucher and need to reschedule because I won't be able to attend the class. What are my options?

A: You can reschedule a class by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. at least 5 days in advance of the originally scheduled class. Include with your currently scheduled class and the class that you would like to attend.

Q: If I have to stop in the middle of a training session will Kofax remember where I left off?

A: All course progress is automatically tracked so that you can begin where you left off.


Q: How long do I have access to the course content and materials?

A: Each student will have 90 days to complete their On-demand course.


Q: Can I share my On-demand course with others?

A: On-demand training is designed for a single named-user and may not be shared with others.


Q: Can I download the On-demand training videos?

A: Training materials may be downloaded but the training videos may only be streamed. 


Q: Is a certification exam included with On-demand training course?

A: One certification exam is included with most On-demand training courses. Each exam entitles the user to two attempts.  

Q: How do I purchase Private Engagement training?

Q: Is a recording of the private training available at the end of the course?

A: Kofax does not record any of our private training sessions. 


Q: Can Private Engagement training be attended online? 

A: Private training can be provided at your facility, our facility or live online. 


Q: How many people will be allowed to attend a Private Engagement training? 

A: Private Engagement classes are limited to 12 attendees unless special arrangements are made.

Q: When will the Kofax Learning Cloud be available? 

A: Kofax plans to launch the Learning Cloud on July 15th.

Q: Does the Kofax Learning Cloud offer certification? 

A: Yes, however, all certification modules will need to be completed to prepare for the exam. 

Q: Is certification available with every training course that Kofax offers?

A: Certification is available for most Kofax courses. Please check the course description to determine if certification is available.
